Frequently asked questions

Does SmarTV+ include channels?

No. SmarTV+ is only a player. You need your own M3U playlist from your TV provider. We do not provide playlists or recommend where to get them.

Where do I find my TV's activation code?

Open SmarTV+: the 8-character code and the device's MAC are shown on the start screen. The code is fixed for that TV.

How do I load my playlist?

You have two options: type the URL on the TV with the remote, or go to My list on your phone, enter your TV's code and paste the URL or choose the file. The TV loads it automatically within a few minutes (or when you reopen the app).

I have a server, username and password, but no URL

Use the Converter: enter those three details and it builds the playlist URL, ready to paste.

A channel says "Technical problems on this channel"

That channel's server is not responding or the channel is down. It is not a problem with the app: try another channel and, if all of them fail, contact your playlist provider.

How long is the free trial?

7 days from the first time you open the app on that TV. You can check the days left in Activation.

Is it a monthly payment?

No. It is a one-time payment per TV. If you change TVs, the new one needs its own activation.

I reinstalled the app. Do I lose my license?

No. The code is tied to the device, so after reinstalling the same code appears and the license stays active.

The app says "We could not verify your license"

The TV has been offline for several days. Check the TV's network; as soon as it reconnects, the app works again automatically.

How do I change the app's language?

At the bottom of the app's start screen, choose English or Español. The app restarts in that language.
